Willie "Brother" King. Jr.

Willie (Brother) King, Jr., 90, passed away at his home in Idabel, Oklahoma on Sunday, October 22, 2017. He was born August 23, 1927 in Fredrick, Oklahoma to Willie King and Agnes Hogan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son – Billie Joe King; four brothers – Charles King, Ross King, Conway King, and Cornell King; eight sisters – Katharene King, Covell King Young, Pearl Ann King Scales, Rosie King-Wilson, Beatrice King-Scott, Julia King Gissandaner, Cornealious King-Shoals, and Lillian (Lil) King; and one grandson – Bryan Lee King.

Willie leaves to cherish his memory: Wife, Opal King; sister, Billie King; children, Willie (Vanessa King), Terry King (Argie Willis), Larry King (Kathy Bagsby), Charles (Senta) King, Dorothy (Charles) Akins, Karen King, and Sheila King (Wayne Walker). He also leaves to continue his legacy, 23 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

Interment will follow in Williamston Cemetery in Idabel.
