Willie Burris 71 was born February 12, 1943 to Clemmie and Ossie Burris Butler. He passed away 08/28/14 at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Willie attended school at Riverside in Harris, Oklahoma. He worked at Tyson Foods in Broken Bow, Oklahoma for a number of years, and was a life time McCurtain county resident. He enjoyed fishing, but especially enjoyed cooking, and serving his family and friends. Willie's favorite passed time was watching the Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball Team.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Carrie Sue Johnson.
He is survived by one daughter; Renita Preston of Idabel; two brothers, Robert Butler and Henry Burris of Idabel; one sister Rosie Braxton of Idabel, along with a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral arrangements are set for 1 p.m. Thursday September 4, 2014 at The Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Harris, Oklahoma with Rev. Nathaniel Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Harris, OK.
