William G.C. Walker, Jr. was born to William Walker Sr. and Lucretia (Woods) Walker in Idabel, Oklahoma. He attended Booker T. Washington where he graduated in 1960. He went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 25, 2016.
Upon graduating high school, he relocated to Wichita, Kansas where he met and married Clarice (Bell) Walker. To their union, four children were born, Mark Wallace, Craig Martin,
William gave his life to Christ as an early age. He was an active member of Westside First Baptist Church until his health began to fail.
William is survived by his daughter, Tonya Lumbreras of Wichita, Kansas; three sisters, Fannie Polite of Wichita, Kansas; Wilhemina Grayson and Cynthia Diama of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and one brother, Wallace (Nita) Walker of Idabel, Oklahoma. He also leaves many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
William will be missed.
While there is no formal service planned, a private Inurnment will take place at a later date
