Vanessa Rochelle Green was born to Doris Jean Dixon and Ebby Dismuke on May 21, 1958. She departed this earthly life on Thursday March 17, 2022.
Vanessa was the eldest of 7 children. She attended elementary and high school in Tom, Haworth, and Wright City, Oklahoma, She attended college at Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. Vanessa accepted Christ in the early stages of her life and attended Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she later became a member. Her notable work includes Tyson's Food Inc and McCurtain County Assessor's office where she worked for many years.
Vanessa will be remembered for her bubbly smiles, her overwhelming smells, her ability to say "Oochie" when excited, and her overwhelming love for her family and friends.
Vanessa was preceded in death by her father Ebby Dismuke, her son Ebby Green, Her granddaughter Aalayah Gentry, Her Brother James Nolen, Her Sister Patricia (Ann) Green, and her special Aunt Lula Mae Brown.
Vanessa is survived by: Her mother Doris Jean Dixon and her stepfather MacArthur Dixon. four children; Crystal Green, Jerry Green, Deandre Green, and Shakila Green, Eleven Grandchildren: Kristian Gentry Jr. (KJ), La 'Zariah Carter (Zeke), Jamarion Gentry (Maury), Brianna Green (Bree), Janiah Green (Bunny), Kaidynce Moore (Kay), Za'Ryiah Green (Ryiah), Curious Harris, Kaidrian, Kaylor, and Jerry Sorrells. 5 Siblings: Clyde Nolen, Vivian Threadgill, Joyce Nolen, Banard Nolen and Donald Anderson. Special cousins and friends: Dorthy Biggers, Tamika Carter, Marie Smith, Vetecia Broades, And the Dixon Family.
A Graveside Service is set for 11 am Saturday March 26 th , 2022, at Mt Zion Cemetery at Tom with Rev. Marvin Brown
Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery at Tom
