Troy Lee Hill

Troy Lee Hill was born July 13, 1946 to the late Lee Anna and Curtis Hill, Sr. in Idabel, Oklahoma. He passed away December 15, 2013 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.
Troy attended Booker T. Washington High School. He was a truck driver by trade. He loved watching westerns and shooting the breeze with his buddies and family. He was known as "Pop" to his children. No one could beat him in walking. He was affiliated with Rose Hill Baptist Church.
In earlier years, he was married to Barbara Hill and no children were born to this union.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Anna and Curtis, and brothers Clay Dell and Curtis Hill, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories to: his son, Fremone Hill and wife(Rhonda Jones Hill) of Lewisville, Texas; two grandchildren, Amanda LeAnn and Dexter Armahd Hill also of Lewisville, Texas; two sisters, Betty Murphy and husband Jeffrey of Idabel, Oklahoma and Joyce Morton of Midwest City, Oklahoma; two brothers, Willie C. Hill and Charles Hill and wife Patricia both of Idabel; his devoted companion, Allie Terry; step children, Barbra Shannon and husband Terry of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Verbia Harris of Irving, Texas, Lois Faye Giddens of Irving, Texas, Beverly Spencer and husband Lonnie of Spencer, Oklahoma, Stanley Anderson and wife Vanessa of Little Elm, Texas, Stevie Anderson and wife Lynell of Flower Mound, Texas; uncle Troy Henderson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Funeral Services are set for 11 am Saturday December 21, 2013 at Rose Hill Baptist Church with Rev Herbert Smith officiating.
Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery, Idabel.
