Thomas DeJuan Williams was born on April 9, 1977 to Rev. Jimmie and Patha Williams in Idabel, Oklahoma. DeJuan grew up in Idabel and joined Maple Spring Missionary Baptist Church at a young age. He past away Saturday October 12, 2013 at his home in Houston, Texas.
He attended Idabel Public Schools. Following high school, he pursued his education in Okmulgee, Oklahoma from 1995 to 1998 studying Culinary Arts at Oklahoma State University Technical School. In 2004, he moved to Houston, Texas and worked various jobs. In 2005, he started working at Starbucks where he was promoted to Shift Manager; he really loved his job.
DeJuan loved to cook, hang with his friends and travel. He had been to Mexico City, Mexico, Cancun, Mexico, Key West, Florida, Providence, Rhode Island, New Haven, Connecticut, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
He fought a good fight, he kept the faith, and now he has finished his course.
DeJuan is preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Sam and Maggie Andrews; paternal grandparents, Erie Mae (Willie) Bee and Charles Williams; uncles, Willard Bee and Randy Andrews; and an aunt, Cynthia Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, and Rev. Jimmie and Patha Williams of Idabel, Oklahoma; one sister, Erie Williams of Sherman, Texas; a special friend, Carlos Calderon of Houston, Texas; aunts, Marie (Lindsey) Flemon of Dallas, Texas, Lois Jackson (Jessie) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Cassandra Gulley of Texarkana, Texas, Valarie Bee (Quinton) , Kathryn Young, Betty Cheatam, Minnie Jones(Donnell), Gloria Lewis, Alma Hackett, and Vera Banks, all of Idabel, Oklahoma; great uncles, John Smith (Odean) and Willie Smith, both of Dallas, Texas; uncles, Charles Williams, Willie Williams, Ronnie Williams, Theodis Andrews (Signora Galloway) and Roy Andrews (Loretta Beasley), all of Idabel, Oklahoma, Tilma Andrews of Hugo, Oklahoma, and Larry Williams of San Francisco, California; along with a very dear cousin and best friend, Synica Moore of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
His Funeral Service is set, for 11 AM Saturday October 19th at Maple Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Henderson officiating, and Rev. Jimmie Williams Eulogist.
Interment will follow at Maple Springs Cemetery.
