Ms. Thelma Mack was born January 10, 1925. in Manny, Louisiana to Sidney Cooper and Tiny Johnson Cooper. She went to sleep in death May 9, 2011 at Christus St Michael's Hospital, Texarkana, TX.
She met and married William McCoy Mack and to this union eight children were born.
Ms. Thelma was a faithful member of Freedom Temple Church of God and Christ in Foreman Arkansas and was recognized as the Mother of the Church.
She was a hard worker, enjoyed people, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Ms. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband William McCoy Mack Sr. sons, Willie, Steve, William Jr. "Rat," Mack.
She is survived by two sons Benny and wife Armanda, Billy and wife Merlene, all of Tom; two daughters Eva Simpson and husband Leroy of San Diego, CA, and Vera Binson of Oklahoma City, and a host of nieces, nephews, grand children, and friends.
Funeral services are set for 1 PM May 14, 2011 at Freedom Temple Church of God and Christ Foreman, Arkansas with Elder Andrew Smith officiating.
Interment will follow at Della Simpson Cemetery, Tom, Oklahoma.
