Theadiss Townsler

Theadiss Townsler passed away from this life on December 5, 2023. He was born July 26, 1943, to Betsy Mae Gulley (Townsend) Davis and James A. Townsend Sr.

Theadiss was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He met the Lord at an early age. During his life he worked in landscaping and maintenance. He worked at the Sawmill until he later retired.

Theadiss loved to play cards, and dominoes, go fishing, and listen to blues. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Flossie B. (Harris) Townsend, and devoted friend of 44 years Eva Mae Dunlap. Brothers Otis Townsend, James A. Townsend Jr, David Lee Townsend, and Fate Moffitt Jr; sister May Lee Davis; son James L. Williams Jr. Daughter Eva Jackson; grandchildren Edrick Townsend and Alonzo Dixon Jr. Great-grandchildren Angel Townsend, Tadrenae Mathews, Jasrael Jackson and Collyn White.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sister Hazel Townsend of Arkansas, Ruby Davis. Brothers; Henry Davis (Billie) of Idabel, OK, James C. Robinson(Teresa) of Wisconsin, Will Davis of Ohio, Robert and Frankie Lee Davis; Daughters, Marie Townsend and Martha Townsend both of Louisiana; Patrece Williams of Idabel, OK; sons, Darron Jackson of Idabel, OK, Darryl Dunlap, Anthony Williams of OKC, OK, Gregory Williams of Louisiana, and Billy Ray Bell. A special friend James Nelson of Paris, TX. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

His Funeral is set for noon on Friday, December 15th, 2023, at Nunley Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmie William officiating.

Interment will follow at Beaver Dam Cemetery
