Shirley Jean Duckett was born October 4, 1945 to Ward and Rosanna Duckett in Harris, Ok.
She completed grades 1-12 at Riverside School in Harris. She continued her schooling at Wiley College in Marshall, TX. After a few years Shirley returned home to Harris, OK. She was employed at the Kellwood Sewing Factory until it's closing. Then she went to work for the Tyson Plant and worked there for 34 years until she retired. Also, during this time Shirley took an interest in studying the Bible which helped her to get to know and love Jehovah God, which lead to her baptism as one of Jehovah's Witnesses May 30, 1970.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ward and Rosanna Duckett, two sisters, Betty Gentry and an infant Sharontan Duckett, and one brother Charles Duckett.
The surviving family include her son Eric Duckett and (Lynn) of Tulsa, brother Loran and (Delores) of Clarksville, TX, brother Ward Jr. and Ruby Duckett of Tulsa, OK and sister Linda and Robert Nunley of Idabel, OK, brother Chester Duckett of Idabel, OK, and sister Polly Burris Ginn, Broken Bow, OK.
She leaves behind also grandchildren: Shaquille O'neal Duckett, Breanna Alise Duckett, and Cory Baker; great-grandchildren Noah and Kylie.
Also, she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, and her congregation family.
