Mrs. Shirley L Choat

Shirley L Choat 79 was born July 22, 1939 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Willis and Ruth Winchester. She passed away Monday morning, April 1, 2019.

Shirley worked as a law enforcement dispatcher for the Broken bow Police Department for 13 years before she retired. She lived the last 35 years of her life in McCurtain County in Idabel.

Shirley loved being around her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She was very proud of her family, and enjoyed spending the last of days of her life going to Sunday services with her son, Kenny Crane and her daughter-in-law Darla. Shirley had the Biblical hope of living forever on a Paradise earth reunited with her dead loved ones by means of the Bibles promise of a resurrection.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; Willis and Ruth Winchester, her husband; Ray Choat, son; Alvin Wayne Crane, daughter; Karisu Crane, and a host of other relatives whom she loved.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter; Becky Gonzales and husband Frank of Perryton, TX, son; Kenny Crane and wife Darla of Idabel, OK, and many grand and great grandchildren.

A family visitation is set for Thursday, April 4th, from 6-8pm at Nunley's Funeral Home in Idabel, OK.

Funeral arrangements are set for 10am April 5th at Nunley's Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Denison Cemetery
