Rosie D Lewis

Rosie Dell Lewis, age 80, born in Harris, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019, in Idabel at Memorial Heights Nursing Home. Rosie was the daughter of Juanita Geneva Hinds and James V. Young.

In her lifetime, she worked as a CNA at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed going to church, cooking, playing bingo, yard sales, spending time with family and friends, and sitting at the park playing dominos.

Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie B. Lewis, her mother Juanita Hinds and father James V. Young.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three children; Flora (David) Allen of Idabel, Charles Etta (Tommy) Cherry of Valliant and Michael (Tamera) Golston of Denison Texas. 10 Grandchildren; Adiran, Collette, Arnell, Deshun, LaToya, Colesha, Mike Mike, Quinton, Michael Jr., and Jana. 32 great grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, special cousin, Creola Cotton and many close relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are set for 1:00 pm Saturday July 27, 2019 at Community Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Haywood officiating.

Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery, Idabel.
