Rosie Mary Beard

Rosie Mary Beard was born in Idabel, OK July 18, 1962, to the late Carvin Sr. and Mary Beard.

Rosie was a loving, caring, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by loved ones.

At an early age, she became a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church and served as a secretary for some time. She was employed at Tyson Foods for 38 years where she acquired devoted friends and a" Sister" Donna Crain. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Rosie. She loved to spend time with family and friends.

Rosie is preceded in death by her father and mother;
three sisters, Lessie Hill, Sarah, and Ella Mae Beard; two brothers Carvin Jr and Tommy Sr. and a longtime companion Albert Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters; Kapri (Darwin) Threatt, Romika and Ciaria Beard all of Idabel, OK; five grandchildren, Alicia and Tearsney Grayson, Kingston Beard, Jaylee, and Jalani Warhop; one sister, Charlesetta Beard; two brothers, Elfunzo Sr. and Douglas Beard; nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Her Homegoing Service is set for 10 am Saturday, October 15 ^th , 2022, at the By-Pass Church of Christ with Pastor Kevin Haywood officiating.

Interment will follow at Maple Springs Cemetery.

A visitation is set for Friday evening from 6-8 at the Funeral Home.
