Quentin DeVaughn "Moe" Fields was born December 8, 1988 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was the third child of five children.
Moe was a true example of love. He attended Union Bethel Church from an early age. Moe attended Tom Elementary School, and graduated from Haworth High School in 2007. In August of 2009, he moved to Ada, Oklahoma to attend East Central University where he took classes in Engineering. He later attended Murray State College where he took classes in Criminal Justice.
He was emloyed by Auto Zone, and Rynes S. Rose Furniture Store in Ada.
Quentin loved spending time with his children, family and friends. He enjoyed working on cars and hunting and fishing. Moe was well known and had a life that many can emulate. A short life, but left a name that many can follow.
Those preceding Quentin in death include: his father, Roy Lee Walker; brother, Rodney Fields; grandmother, Ophelia Fields; and grandfather, James Smith, Jr. and the late great grandfather and grandmother Isaac and Minnie Fields.
Moe leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Velma Fields of Tom; son, Kyson DeVaughn Fields and Special Friend Raniee Easley of Ada; daughter, JaLiah Fields of Idabel; brothers, Glen Walker and wife Emily of Conway, Arkansas, Michael Walker and wife Krystal of Ashdown, Arkansas, and Ray-quan Larry of Tom; sisters Mineatrice Fields and husband Carlos, and Valencia Fields all of Tom; aunts, Mary Louise Hardwick and husband Sammy of Tom, Brenda Griffin and husband Arthur of Lawton, OK, Melinda Fields and husband Arthur Lee and Felicia Neal and husband Cory all of Tom, Shirley Nolen of Foreman, Arkansas; great aunts, Ola Turner and husband Joe, and Maple and Letha Fields all of Tom, Wanda Cursh and husband William of Idabel; uncles, Jackie Nash of Broken Bow, Victor Nash, Dallas, and Ricky Nash of Foreman, AR, Andrew and Dewayne Smith of Idabel; great uncles, Ray Charles Fields and wife Glenda of Oklahoma City; four nieces Alex and Carla Adams, and Montera Dewberry all of Tom, and Kabrana Field of Oklahoma City; two nephews Montavin Dewberry of Tom, and Rodney Fields Jr. of Oklahoma City, a special Cousin Gerald Fields, but more like a brother, also a special friend Channing Ezell also like a brother, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services are set for 11 am Saturday May 10 th , 2014 at the Haworth Assembly of God Church with Minster Ola Turner officiating. Eulogist Pastor Roy Barlow,
Interment will follow at Alford French Cemetery, Foreman, Arkansas.
