Mrs. Opal Mae King

Opal Mae Stafford King 89 passed away Monday November 2, 2020 at her home in Idabel Oklahoma. Opal was the only child born to Acie Stafford Cole on August 26, 1931 in Idabel Oklahoma. Opal married Willie King Jr. and went on to have eight children. Opal worked as a certified nurse aid for 33 years at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. She retired in 2002 and spent most of her time with her children and grandchildren.

Opal is preceded in death by her husband Willie King Jr., son Billy King, mother Acie Stafford Cole, stepfather Limeul Cole, grandson Bryan Lee King, aunt Willie Stafford, and uncle Presley Stafford.

Opal is survived by her seven children of Idabel Oklahoma, Willie King Jr. (Vanessa King), Dorothy Akins (Charles Akins), Terry King (Argie Willis), Karen King, Larry King (Kathy Bagsby), Sheila King (Wayne Walker), Charles King (Senta King), one sister in law Billie King of Hugo Ok., daughter in law Doris King of Idabel Ok, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great greatgrandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A Graveside Service is set for 3:00 PM Saturday November 7 ^th , 2020 at Williamston Cemetery with Brother Kevin Haywood officiating.
