Minnie A Adams

Minnie Anna Adams, 94, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital Idabel, Ok. She was born March 23, 1922 to Henry Napoleon Glass and Anna Elisa Henderson Glass.

Minnie grew up in Mandeville, Arkansas and graduated from Ashdown High School in Ashdown, AK. and later moved to Chicago. While in Chicago, IL she met and married Horace L Adams of Rappahannock, Virginia in January 1945 and remained happily married for 34 years until his death in 1979.

She was a member of World Wide Church of God since 1959 where she enjoyed serving the lord. Minnie enjoyed being a housewife and gardening as well as spending quality time with her family.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents Henry & Anna Glass, her husband Horace L Adams Sr., eleven siblings, one daughter Minnie Adams Compton, two grandkids, Lonnie Adams and Wayne Anthony Roberts, one great granddaughter Zaniyah Adams and one daughter-in-law Irene Adams.

Minnie is survived by 3 sons and 4 daughters; Horace L. Adams Jr. of Idabel, Wayne (Rose) Adams of Guthrie, Ok, and Herman (Marlene) Adams of Idabel, Ok. Linda Roberts, Anna Adams, and Kay Adams all of Tom, Ok, and Wendy (Darren) Roberts of Clarksville, TX.,17 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service is set for Wednesday February 8, 2017 at 12pm at Nunley's Funeral Home with Brother Glass officiating Idabel.

Interment will follow at St. Luke's Cemetery in Tom, Ok.
