Mary Virginia Fields

Mary Virginia Fields (AKA) "Maple" was born on October 21, 1948 in Little River County to the late Isaac and Minnie Fields. She passed July 07, 2020 at Paris Regional Hospital in Paris, Texas.

Mary united with Richland Baptist Church at an early age, and later joined Community Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Roy Barlow. She was an active member until her illness.

Mary attended school at Unity High in Foreman, Arkansas. She worked at Pilgrims Poultry in Dequeen Arkansas, and provided in home care for seniors in Tom, Ok.

Mary enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. No one was a stranger, or not welcomed in her home. Also, she loved to cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and six siblings, and brother-in-law William Cursh.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories three sons; Freddie, Edward, and Brian Fields (Ronda) from Tom, OK., four daughters; Opal Fields of Tom, OK, Teresa Fields Cooper (Loyce) of Dallas, Texas, Tracy Fields (Val Threadgill) of Haworth, OK., Shanna Fields (Freeman) of Dallas, TX., three sisters; Ola Turner (Joe) of Tom, Ok., Wanda Cursh Haworth, OK., and Leatha Fields of Tom, Ok., Special Sister- in-laws; Glenda Fields, and Faye Fields of Oklahoma City, OK., Anita Taylor from Idabel, Arlene Warren from Oklahoma City, OK., 8 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, 5 Loving Friends: Louise Jackson, Sarah Threadgill, Laresse Murphy, Bert Lou Smith, and Glenda Harris.

A Graveside Funeral service is set for 11 am Saturday July 18 ^th 2020 at French Cemetery in Foreman, Arkansas with Rev. Easter officiating.
