Marvin Earl Nash

March 13, 1954 — September 18, 2015

Marvin Earl Nash was born March 13, 1954 to the late Mae Lene Nash and L.C. Cooper. He passed away at his home in Tom surrounded by his family and friends September 18, 2015.

He united with the New Dora Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
In 1999 he was ordained as deacon, under the leadership of Rev. W. R. Whitfield. Marvin was a faithful member until his health failed him. He also served as church Treasurer, Usher, and sang with the Male Chorus.

Marvin was employed with Pilgrim Pride for 33 years, and he was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his devoted wife, Denise Nash of the home; Ricky (Alesha) Williams of DeQueen, Arkansas and Authra Meshal (Titus) Hardiman of Conway, Arkansas; sisters, Iris (Leroy) Brown and Minister Jolene Rhone of Tom, Oklahoma; special little sister, Andrea Williams; step-sons, Bryce (Jocelyn) Meadors, and Leon Meadors; Eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins; Special friends, Johnnie & Ruth Ezell, Mrs. Leola Cursh, Dean Jones, Henry Shoals, Bert Lou Smith and Sara Bea Threadgill.

Services are set for 11 am Saturday September 26th, at the New Dora Missionary Baptist Church Tom, Oklahoma with Elder James Ezell officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery Tom, Oklahoma.
