Marvin Lee Daniels was born November 18, 1936 in Idabel, Oklahoma to the late Dan and Loretta "Etoy" Daniels. He was the eldest of four. His brothers, Wilbert, Charles "Stem", Gerald Daniels and grandson, Donald Jeffrey "DJ" precede him in death. Marvin went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 23, 2015 at his home in Idabel, Oklahoma.
Marvin was a beloved husband of 58 years and a wonderful father. In July of 1956, he married Charlene Scott and to this union four children were born.
Marvin worked as a stone mason. He owned and operated a very successful business for over 15 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma before his retirement. He accepted Christ on October 11, 1981. Marvin was baptized by his uncle, James T. Moore from Los Angeles, California.
Those Marvin leaves to cherish his memories include: his wife, Charlene of the home; children Donald Daniels and wife Lucille, Carolyn Daniels, and Robin Daniels of Tulsa, and Christy Lister of Rockwall, Texas; eight grandchildren, Tamica, Keesha, Chariah, Reggie Jr., Jessica, Brooke, William, and Jordan; nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Wright; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are set for 1:00 pm Saturday January 31, 2015 at the Lynn Church of Christ with Brother Richard Pollard officiating.
Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery, Idabel
