Lucille Coplin was born January 1, 1928 in Hochatown, Oklahoma, the only child of Felix Futrell and Myrtle Ashford. She passed away at her home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma on the evening of September 11, 2014 at the age of 86.
Lucille was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness on May 30, 1970 and was a faithful servant for more than 44 years. She enjoyed sharing the Good News of the Kingdom with others and meeting and associating with her brothers and sisters in the Broken Bow and Idabel congregations and throughout the circuit. Lucille treasured the scripture Isaiah 33:24 that states; "no resident will say I am sick," This hope and promise brought her great comfort during her illness.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Felix and Myrtle; and husbands, Orbie L. Coplin and Donald L. Giffin.
Lucille leaves to cherish her memories include: her daughters, Nelda Foster of Oakland, Oregon and Debra Barrett and husband John R. of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; granddaughters Sacheen Eppolito and husband Tony of Texarkana, Arkansas, Alecia Foster of Eugene, Oregon, and Suzella Ahrens of Phoenix, Arizona; along with many cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service is set for 2 pm Saturday September 13, 2014 at The Broken Bow Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Brother Daniel Gibson officiating.
A private interment is set for Saturday Morning at Denison Cemetery.
