Lorna Vance

Mrs Lorna Vance was born January 4th, 1933, in Windham, New York to Darwin Delong and Hazel Winthrop Delong. She passed at her home in Broken Bow surrounded by her family on August 31, 2024.

She met and married Archie Vance on March 15th, 1971. Archie has already received his heavenly reward.

Mrs. Vance loved to Sew, quilt, color, cut and paste, play the fiddle, and play cards, and dominos with her friends and family. Lorna cooked pies, cakes, and yeast bread for her family and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Darwin and Hazel Delong, husband Archie Vance, and her children, Ray Abraham Meddler, Earl and Tommy Dale Jordan, and Cynthia Evelyn Thompson.

Lorna is survived by one daughter; Hayley Dickerson of Broken Bow, OK, sons; David Jordan from Oklahoma City, OK., Jamie Durant Idabel, OK., and Glenn Jordan of Warner Ok., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Flowers may be sent to the Home at 601 E 5th Street in Broken Bow.

A private Inurnment will take place later.
