Lorene Bailey Moore

Lorene Bailey was born November 19, 1951 to Annie Bell Bailey and Mil'ford Threadgill in Tom, OK. She departed this life November 09, 2017 in Dallas, TX.

She was raised in Tom, OK. In her early 20's she moved to Idabel, OK where she met and married Will (Pete) Pickens. To this union, three children were born. She later met and married Anthony Moore and retained the last name Moore.

She was a devoted mother to her children. She enjoyed life and was a very giving person. She worked several laborer jobs throughout her life. Lorene possessed a huge heart that enabled her to be a passionate caregiver to her family and friends. She was an avid worker within her community, and was an excellent cook who prepared many delicious homecooked meals for family and friends.

Later in life, she devoted her life to Christ. She had a strong faith in God and was an active member in her church until her health changed and prevented her participation in church activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Rhonda Runnels, two sisters Zannie Bailey and Annie Jean Bailey; and two brothers Leodis Threadgill and Robert Bailey.

Lorene leaves to cherish her memories: Sons, David (Belinda) Runnels of Oklahoma City, OK and Anthony Pickens of Idabel, OK. Grandson, Marcus Runnels of TX. Daughters, Sharon Royal-McNair of Oklahoma City, OK and Angela Pickens-Applewhite of Dallas, TX. Granddaughters, LaShera (Peaches) Runnels and Shuronda Mosley of Dallas, TX. Sisters, Mary Bailey of Hugo, OK, Dorothy (Curtis) Bailey of Idabel, OK, Betty Sue Threadgill and Francine Threadgill, both of Houston, TX. Brothers, Kevin Bailey and Billy Bailey, both of Idabel, OK, Edward (Barbara) Bailey of Locksburg, AR, Albert Williams of Foreman, AR, and Mil'ford Willie Threadgill of Houston, TX; and a very special, longtime friend, Shirley Jones. Also, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews .
