Lisa Marie Dewberry-Threadgill was born September 21, 1969, to Whalion Dewberry, Sr., and the late Ollie May Burris-Dewberry in Idabel, Oklahoma. She passed away at UAMS on 11-13-2024 in Little Rock Arkansas.
Lisa accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church Westside under the leadership of Rev. Ralph White and later became a member of Bright Star Baptist Church which later became Community Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Roy Barlow. She served as an usher for 20+ years.
Lisa attended Booker T. Washington Elementary and later attended Haworth High School where she was an active player on the basketball team. She played the guard position and was an awesome defense player under Mr. Martin. Then graduated with the class of 1988.
Shortly after graduating, she married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Don Threadgill of Tom, Oklahoma, on August 1, 1988. To this union, three children were born. Lisa worked for Pilgrim's for several years and later went to work at Tyson's until she was unable to work. She then became a basketball mom to several young boys including her son whom she was his number one fan. She was a dedicated Haworth Lion fan performing any and every duty she could to be supportive. She was a homemaker and loved to work out and do TikTok with her family. She also helped out in her community driving or doing whatever was needed of her. She never met a stranger. She was like the daughter her Aunt Betty never had.
