Lillie Rochelle Lawson was born to Johnnie B. Hall on July 23, 1976 in San Diego, California. She passed away on August 11, 2012 at The University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
In 1976 the family moved back to Idabel, Oklahoma. Here, she attended pre-school, elementary and high school. After high school, several of her school mates left their hometown and pursued different paths. Due to her mom's health, Lillie chose to stay in Idabel. She was quiet, but a very outgoing person. She loved to be around family and friends. When you met Lillie, you never forgot her and she never forgot you.
At the age of thirteen, Lillie gave her life to Christ and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Idabel, under the leadership of Rev. White.
Lillie's mother preceded her in death on February 16, 2012. The apron string was broken for almost six months. But, they are together again. They are laughing, hugging and enjoying themselves.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her son, A'daylas Tre'Keesa Lawson of Idabel; she also leaves her long-time companion, Robert Brown of Clarksville, Texas; nephew, Tarrius Harris and niece, ShaQuarrius Carter, both of Idabel; a sister, Tesha Carter of Oklahoma City; four aunts, Lovie Bee Walker of Killeen, Texas; Betty Hopkins and Linda Hall both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Lillie Trammel (Glenn) of Las Vegas, Nevada; one uncle Dave Hall (Alice) of Texarkana, Texas; great aunt, Celia Duffie (Marion) of Texarkana, Texas; Lillie had seven cousins that she adored, Hazel Bradshaw, Ruby Risby, Dorothy Fisher, Koeta Hopkins, Artis McGinnis, Christopher Hall, and Shermichael Hall. In life, some of us find that one friend, and hers was Sholonda Johnson and her husband Edward. She also leaves a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral Services are set for 1 PM Saturday August 18, 2012 at West Side First Baptist 4 NW Enid Idabel, OK. with Re. A W Gulley officating.
Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery.
