Levoid Shoals

Levoid Shoals, Sr. was born to Ned and Alphe Shoals in Shulter, Oklahoma on April 15, 1917. He went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 11, 2014 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma at the age of 97.
Levoid was a strong Christian man, serving the Lord all of his life. He enjoyed working as a mechanic and reading the Holy Bible until he began to lose his eye sight. He then took great delight in listening to Gospel music and listening to church sermons.
Levoid is preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Fannie Mae Shoals; and one son, Paul Lawrence Shoals.
Those he leaves to cherish his memories include: five children and their spouses, Verna Miller and husband Charlie, Levoid Shoals, Jr. and wife Dean, Bobby Shoals and wife Barbara (all of Hanford, California), Sir Lee Shoals of Corcoran, California, and Darlene Johnson and husband Robert of San Diego, California; One brother Luther Shoals of Idabel; one sister Dorothy Davis and Warren of Washington DC; twenty grandchildren, fifty-three great grandchildren, along with many other family members, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Levoid enjoyed traveling and meeting people. He would always tell everyone to "Have a God Blessed Day!"
Funeral Services are set for 11 A M Thursday August 21, 2014 at Mt. Sinai Church of God and Christ Sir Lee Shoals officiating.
Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery
