L. J. Fields was born January 13, 1956 to Isaac and Minnie fields in Foreman, Arkansas. He passed away 03/01/2013 at the Midwest City Medical Center.
He attended high school and graduated in Haworth, Oklahoma. L J worked all of his life and the last job he worked was in construction at the Red River Army Depot.
L. J. joined the church at an early age and was a member of the Richland Church in Foreman, Arkansas.
He was the image of true love to everyone he met and came in contact with.
He is preceded in death by his mother & father; Isaac and Minnie Fields, sister Ophelia Fields, three brothers; Johnny Mack Fields, Sylvester Fields and Isaac Fields, Jr.
L J leaves to mourn; his son, Anthony Fields, his granddaugh¬ter, Eniya Fields, his life companion, Fayetta Ellis and her children, Camilia Ellis, Jerry Warner, Jr., Terry Warner (Michelle), Darius Ellis, all of Midwest City, Tyard Ellis (Shanda) stationed at Russia, four sisters; Mary Fields, Ola Faye (Joe) Turner, Wanda Jean (William) Cursh of Idabel and Letha Fields of Tom, Oklahoma; Ray Charles (Glenda) Fields of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Aunt Margaret Fields of Wichita, Kansas, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and a special friend Clara Murphy. L. J. is affectionately known to her as Elbow.
A Wake and visitation is scheduled for Thursday March 7th 2013 from 6-8 at Pollard's Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Funeral services are set for 1 pm Saturday March 9th, 2013 at Nu Dora Missionary Baptist Church with John Griffin Eulogist.
Interment will follow at Alford French Cemetery, Foreman, Arkansas.
