Lela M. Wells was born March 18th, 1938, in Avery Texas to Grover and Maggie Northcutt. She lived in Clarksville, Texas but passed away at the Stillhouse Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Paris, Texas.
Lela lived and spent time in three states, Avery Texas, Idabel, OK., and Clarksville Texas.
She dedicated her life and symbolized her dedication and was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness on 06/19/1963.
Lela enjoyed gardening beautifying the yard, garage sales, and going to repurchase shops. She also loved people especially her family and her Christian Brothers and Sisters. Lela had maintained the spirit of hospitality and welcomed visitors to her home before and after she became ill. She maintained an appreciative spirit.
Lela was preceded in death by her husband Jessie O. Wells, her parents Grover and Maggie Northcutt, son Everette Wells, two brothers: Bobby and E. G. Northcutt.
Lela leaves to cherish her memory a son Allan Wells, one daughter Charlotte Anderson of South Louisiana, three sisters Robbie Ray (H. B.) of Avery Texas, Louise Simmons of Texarkana Arkansas, and Nell Bishop (James) of Blossom, Texas, two brothers: Enis Northcutt (Sue) of Avery, Texas, and Jimmy Northcutt of Bogata, Texas, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
A Memorial Service for 10:30 on Saturday, May 4th at the Clarksville Texas Kingdom Hall with Brother Larry Smith providing words of Comfort.
