Lee Von Tucker

Lee Von Tucker was born April 16, 1955 to Rosie Lee Tucker Hill and Hubert Harris in Idabel, Oklahoma. Von departed this life on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. in Shreveport LA., at the VA Hospital. He was the first of six children.
At an early age he united with James Metropolitan C.M.E. Church and remained a member.
Von, received his education at Booker T. Washington School in Idabel. he was called and served in the United States Army in Korea.
Von worked at Huffman, KCS Lumber Companies and Tyson Food during his life time.
He was preceded in death by his father Hubert Harris, and grandmother Janie Moon.
Von is survived by his mother Rosie Hill of the home; son, Cecil Nelson of Idabel; daughter; Aisha Vaughn of Idabel; four sisters; Carolyn Hill Richards of Idabel, Verbia Harris of Irvin TX., Barbara Shannon of Tulsa, OK., and Carolyn Lewis of Idabel, six brothers; Hudson Hill Forth Worth TX., Rickey Hill, Burns Flat, OK., Anthony Hill of Guthrie, OK., Cordell Lewis of OKC., Hubert Harris Jr., and Roy Lee Harris of CA., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 pm Friday January 29, 2016 at St. James CME Church with Rev. Delroy Markland officiating.
Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery
