Lee Roy Evans

Lee Evans went to sleep in death on  September 21, 2019 in Garvin Oklahoma. He was born to Jennie Kibler and Robert Johnson, May 7, 1947 in San Luis Obisco, California.

Lee spent his early years pursuing a career in music. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses on March 17, 1979.

He and his wife Linda moved their family to Texas in 1981 to provide a more wholesome way of life for their family. Later he moved the family to Oklahoma in 1996. Lee was best known for his love for his God Jehovah, and his belief as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. In addition, Lee loved making music and was a hard worker; skilled in many different trades.

Lee was preceded in death by one daughter, Arlene Evans.

Lee is survived by his wife Linda Evans of CA, 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law; LeAnn of CA, Stormy and Brad Whisenhunt of Bend, Oregon, Sunny and Caleb Conrad of Locksburg, Arkansas, and one son and daughter-in-law; Blue and Leslie Evans of Wallkill, New York. And,  many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and a host of brothers and sisters in the faith.

A Memorial service is set for 2:00 pm Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Idabel Choctaw Community Center, 2408 E. Lincoln Road.
