Leatrice Dixon was called home early Saturday morning, May 15, 2021, at the Wilbarger General Hospital in
Vernon, Texas.

Leatrice Dixon "Punkin", daughter of the late Berdia Tucker and Paul McGee was born June 7, 1968. She is the oldest of six children. Leatrice loved cooking, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was an active member of Sherman Chapel AME.

She was united in holy matrimony to Timothy Dixon in June of 1997 in Idabel, Oklahoma, where this union raised their seven children.

Leatrice was preceded in death by her father, Paul McGee, mother, Berdia Tucker Fleeks, step-mother, Rosetta McGee, and her son, Floyd Ray Dixon.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 24 years, Timothy Dixon of Vernon, Texas; 4 sons, Brandon Bryant (Cynthia) of Denton, Texas, Dequante Dixon of Idabel, Oklahoma, Leon Merritt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Robert Battle of Vernon, Texas; 2 daughters, Tabrsha Bryant of Dallas, Texas and Veree Warren of Amarilla, Texas, 1 sister, Nancy McGee of Idabel, Oklahoma, 4 brothers, Dexter Green of Atlanta, Georgia, Paul Green (Fedisha) of Dallas, Texas, Lawrence McGee of Vernon, and Patrick McGee (Abbey) of Electra, Texas, her grandmother Helen Tucker of Vernon, Texas, 2 step-sisters, Lora and Crystal Dunbar, of Idabel, Oklahoma, her father-in-law, Mack Author Dixon (Doris) of Wright City, Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren a special friend Kim Harris, and a host of relatives and friends.
