Obituary

Laquetta Michelle Johnson was born on May 16, 1966 in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was the second child born to Patrica Ann Moore and Claydell Hill. She passed away peacefully on November 21, 2019 at the age of 53. Laquetta accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Disciples of Christ Outreach Ministries in Del City, Oklahoma. She and her family later moved to Arlington, Texas

She graduated from Idabel High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved watching movies, shopping, and meeting new friends. She was a successful business owner of Laquetta's Cleaning Service, Grand Prarie, Texas. Laquetta was preceded in death by both parents; Patrica Ann Moore and Claydell Hill, and both grandparents; Leana Hill and Emma McGinnis.

She will be missed by all that knew her. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, James Johnson of the home, Grand Prarie,Texas; son, Derrond M. Johnson and Nyesha Anglin of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Jamesia K. Johnson Smith and Derrick Smith, Ft. Worth, Texas; daughter, Lameisha K. Johnson and Mark Donald, Arlington, Texas; daughter, LaCresha Mitchelle, Lawton, Oklahoma; sister, Elondia Moore, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and brother, Donta Moore, Idabel, Oklahoma. Six sister-in-laws; Diane Johnson (Craig Young), Bonnie Johnson, Karen Johnson, Parese Richards, Gail Lewis (Terry), and Carolyn Wilson (Terry). Mother and father-in-laws, Earlene and Lyndell Johnson. Special aunt and uncle, Alice & David Hall, Idabel, Oklahoma. Six (6) grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Funeral arrangements are set for 1 pm Saturday at Westside 1st Baptist Church with Rev. H Charles Wiggins officiating.

Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery
