John "Jed" Willie Neal

John Willie Neal (Jed) was born on November 30, 1948 to Raymond Neal and Laura Neal in Idabel, Oklahoma. He passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Oklahoma City.

Jed married Alice Faye Neal and they, along with his stepson, Benny Richards, built a happy life together. He worked for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) for 30+ years. He loved spending time with his beautiful wife, fishing, playing dominoes with friends on Sunday evenings, watching westerns and football games, and helping others when possible.

Jed took pride in everything that he did. He was a gentleman with a big heart. He was the third oldest of 15 children.

John was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carolyn Richards; brothers, Larkin Wimbley, Raymond Neal, Curtis Richards Roy Richards, and Henry Johnson.

He will lovingly be remembered by his wife, Alice Neal of Idabel; stepson, Benny (Rochelle) Neal of Oklahoma City; special step-daughter, Josie Neal; brother, L.J. Neal; sisters, Kathy Richards of Idabel; Florine Davis and Patsy Neal, both of Lawton, Oklahoma; Sherry (Robert) Marriweather of Clarksville, Tennessee. Also, a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral is set for Friday at 10 A.M. at ByPass Church of Christ.
