Joe David Cubit

January 11, 1937 — April 29, 2016

Mr. Joe David Cubit Sr. was born 01/11/1937 in Broken Bow, Ok, to Lewis Cubit and Effie "Walker" Cubit. He passed away 04/29/2016 at his home in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

He grew up in Broken Bow Ok., and graduated from Dunbar High School. Joe enjoyed watching WWF wrestling, football, dominoes, and fishing. Joe loved and enjoyed his family. He was a loving father, devoted brother, and an awesome uncle.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, two brothers: Johnny and Norman Cubit, and one sister: Bobby, Perry.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sons: Joseph Cubit Jr., OKC, Johnny and Glen Cubit both of Spencer, OK., a close special friend Earnestine Shoals that he has known for sixty one years "1955-2016" of Saint, Paul Minnesota, one brother: Claude Lee Cubit, OKC, two sisters: Ida Miles Paris, Texas, and Ada Bell, Bell of Broken Bow, OK., six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral arrangements are set for 2:00 pm Saturday at the Maple Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmie Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Lukfata, Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
