Jimmy D Taylor

Jimmy Dale Taylor was born on 11/07/1935 in Clarksville, Texas to Alma and James Taylor.  The first of 7 children. He Passed away on 11/25/2024 at 89 years of age at his home.  He was the oldest of 7 children.

He was a Loving husband to Lila Kay Taylor whom he married on April 23, 1977.

Those who preceded him in death are his parents, Alma and James Taylor, and his siblings Ricky, Lavelle, Steven, and Wade.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Lila Kay, two brothers Bobby and wife Emma Dell, and Fred with his wife Sherrie Taylor, family members, Lori and Ricky Baird, Leslie and Tim Fish, Laura and Ralph Ripley, John and Jess Taylor, and Jecca and Arthur Moeller, Grandchildren; Emily Moose, Anna Taylor, and Josh Taylor, Great grandchildren; Mila and Zaelyn.

He worked at the Texas State Highway Department for 30 years and retired in May of 1987.

He was a pillar in the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Clarksville since January 15, 1965. He loved playing pool, dancing to his favorite music, and talking about Jehovah.

A Memorial service is set for 1 pm December 7, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Clarksville, Texas with a Zoom tie-in available.
