Janet Kay Siegfried

Janet Kay Siegfried, born March 13, 1953, in Sweet Home, Oregon, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. Janet’s life was one filled with dedication, kindness, and deep affection for those around her. She was the cherished daughter of the late Levi Tom Westbrook and Frances Charlene McKeever, whose influence shaped her remarkable character and enduring values.

Throughout her life, Janet demonstrated unwavering commitment to her work as a customer service representative for AT&T. She was valued for her professionalism, reliability, and the genuine care she extended to everyone she encountered. Her career was more than a job; it was an extension of her generous spirit and her desire to help others.

At home, Janet took exceptional pride in her surroundings, finding immense joy in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for both family and friends. Her home and yard were reflections of her attention to detail and her passion for nurturing beauty and comfort. Among her many talents, her love of cooking and baking held a special place in her heart. Janet’s lasagna and yeast rolls were not only delicious but were also symbols of the love and thoughtfulness she poured into every gathering. These dishes, always made from scratch, became cherished favorites among those who had the opportunity to enjoy her hospitality.

In recent years, Janet’s faith brought her deep comfort and renewed hope. Her newfound relationship with Jehovah assured her of the promise of everlasting life in paradise on earth. This spiritual journey became a source of strength, guiding her through challenges and instilling in her a profound sense of peace.

Janet is lovingly remembered by her son, John Curtis Alexander III, and her daughter, Melisa Kay Clarke. Her beloved granddaughters, Lindsey Kyle Clarke, Katie Ryan, and Janey Sweeney, along with her great-granddaughter, Halee Sweeney, will forever hold dear the memory of her caring nature and the joy she brought to family life. Janet also leaves behind her dear friend, Shawn Lyons, who she referred to as a bonus son whose companionship enriched her later years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Levi Tom Westbrook and Frances Charlene McKeever, who welcomed her with loving arms.

The legacy Janet leaves behind is one of devotion, warmth, and cherished traditions. Her impact will be felt for generations in the memories she created and the love that surrounded her.

A memorial service for Janet Kay Siegfried will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, North Park Drive, Broken Bow, OK 74728. Family, friends, and all whose lives Janet touched are invited to gather in remembrance and to celebrate the extraordinary life of a truly remarkable woman.
