James Earl Braxton

James Earl Braxton was born 10-03-1958 in Clarendon Texas to Jessie James McAlister and Lorine Gray. He passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at Christus St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana Texas at 12:30 pm.

James enjoyed cooking especially making his homemade dressing for his family. He loved talking trash or teasing which was his way of expressing affection. James loved to buy and sell cars and other equipment.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Lorine Braxton and Jessie McAlister, and two brothers Ozell and Charles Braxton.

He leaves to cherish his memories 5 sisters, 4 brothers, and 8 children; Jamie Smith Texarkana, Tx., Crystal Iweriebor of Oklahoma City, Justin Rainey, Jaree Cole, Jesse Cole, Jimmy (Jolisa) Cole, and Jae Cole all of Idabel, Tenesha Harris of Dallas Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.

A Graveside service is set for 11 am Saturday, August 27 ^th , 2022, at Williamston Cemetery.
