Jamal James Clay was born in St. Louis, Missouri, November 23, 1983 Thanksgiving Day. He went to be with his parents, Barbara Davenport and Henry Clay, Sr., Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2019.
He was raised by his mother Barbara Davenport and was the youngest of three children, Cutina Davenport and Henry Clay, Jr. birthed from Barbara and a sister, SaMiyah Clay from their father. He grew up and lived in St. Louis until he was 10 years old then he and his mother moved to Idabel, Oklahoma in 1993. He graduated Idabel High School in 2002.
Jamal was a devoted son, father to 5 kids, uncle, nephew and friend. He was an amazing person in general. He had a smile that could brighten the darkest day. He truly held a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew or met him. No matter what obstacles he faced, he lived for better days.
Funeral arrangements are set for 2:30 PM Saturday December 07, 2019 at the By-Pass Church of Christ.
Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery
