Henry was born December 24, 1944 to Elder Henry and Missionary Tressie Jones in Idabel, OK. He was united in marriage to Cathy Jones on January 18, 1992.
Henry accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age and untied with Jones Temple Church of God in Christ in Idabel. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1963. He attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from East Central University in Ada, OK. He began his accounting career at Conoco and retired from Exxon Corporation in December 2003. He enjoyed travelling, fishing and visiting with friends.
Henry is preceded in death by his father and mother; his sister, Luvorne Jeffery; and his daughter, Tamla Bell Young. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Cathy: three sons, Henry Jones III and wife Gail; Gregory Jones, Jonathan Bell and wife Arealia; all of Missouri City, TX; one niece Barbara Jean Cole of Idabel, OK and a host of family and friends.
Services are set for 2:00 pm Saturday June 20th, 2015 at Earthman Funeral Home in Stafford, Texas.
A Graveside service is set for 10 am Monday June 22, 2015 at Williamston Cemetery, Idabel, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery
