Helen Wilson was born February 11, 1938 in Foreman, Arkansas to Freddy Herion and Mattie Henderson. She passed away in her home on October 16, 2016 in Idabel, Oklahoma.
She attended Unity School from first through sixth grade. Upon relocating to West Texas, she married Richard Don Wilson. To this union were born five children: Ricky, Lonny, Mattie, Letty, and Trina. She was employed as a supervisor at Blue Morrow Meat Packing Company for 15+ years.
During this time she began to study Jehovah Witness until her health started to decline. Helen, better known as Gran-Gran, still continued to study and help anyone that came to her in need of prayer or guidance down the right path.
Preceding her in death were her father, Freddy Herion; mother, Mattie Henderson; son, Ricky Henderson; and three grandchildren, Darwin Campbell, Reynaldo Wilson and Byron Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Daughters, Mattie (Willie) Williams of Idabel, Oklahoma; Letty Wilson and Trina Frost, both of Amarillo, Texas; and son, Lonny Wilson of Amarillo, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Eva Wilson, Blanton Wilson, Trevienna Edd, all of Idabel, Oklahoma; and Roland Wilson of Huntsville, Texas; 14 great-grandchildren, 15 great, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
