George E. Middlebrooks

George E. Middlebrooks was born on December 26, 1939 to James and Maude Middlebrooks in Idabel, Oklahoma. He passed away on March 29, 2018 at Hill's Nursing Home in Idabel, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Eagletown High School and worked as a Roughneck in the oil fields in Alaska and in the Gulf of Mexico. He retired from Tyson in Broken Bow after working in the position of knife sharpener for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Sisters, Ruby Elliott and Dorothy Slack; and brothers, Floyd Middlebrooks, J.P. Middlebrooks, and Jesse Middlebrooks.

Surviving him are: Daughter – Kim Middlebrooks of Oregon. Sons – James and Tony Middlebrooks of Eagletown, Oklahoma. Sister – Lorene Pennington of DeQueen, Arkansas. Sister-in-Law – Gloria Middlebrooks of Oregon. Also, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
