George James of Paris, Texas passed away on October 8, 2011 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 53. He was born on July 30, 1958 in Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Malvin James and Eliza (Jessie) James.
George was a self taught mechanic and worked for over thirty years as a body shop mechanic and made many friends. He loved riding and working on motorcycles. He considered his pets as part of his family.
George is preceded in death by: his mother, Eliza James; grandmother Ida Mae Thompson; and a brother Allen James.
He is survived by; his father, Malvin James of Paris; one son, Robert George Bohanon of Bethel, Oklahoma; sisters Joyce L. James of Bristow, Oklahoma, Melvina Buckland and husband Joe of Colcord, Oklahoma, Joni Haddix and husband Vince, Pam Middleton and husband Keith all of Idabel, Polly Kerwin and husband Geroge of Elecetic, Alabama; a special niece LeAndrea (Tom) Kitchens; three step-children, Chad, Gary & Bambi; four nephews, Jason, Bill, Alex, & Woodrow; four great nephews, William, Jake, Keene, & Noah; two great nieces, Erin & Amy; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be from 7-9 Tuesday evening October 11, 2011 at the Funeral Home.
Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Brother J D Ledbetter
officiating at the Funeral Home.
A private inurnment will take place at a later day.
