G B Johnson

On Saturday, January 6, 2024, GB Johnson saddled up and rode off to be with Lord.

G.B. Ellis Johnson was born December 2 1945 to Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Johnson in the Maple Springs community of Idabel Oklahoma. G.B. joined Maple Springs Baptist Church at an early age and he attended school at Maple Springs Richland and Booker T Washington school.

GB loved horses and country living. He enjoyed working on vehicles. He understood and valued the simple things in life.
GB was preceded in death by his parents Ruben and Theria Johnson. Two brothers Ruby, Lee Johnson, and Willie Johnson. One sister, Lena M Jones, and one great-grandson Zanarious Marcell.

To cherish his memories, his first-born Sandy Scott (Mack) his only son Anthony Johnson Sr. (Phyllis) middle daughter Tracy Johnson and Baby Daughter Angela Hall (UnDray); Siblings Bonnie Medford Dallas Tx, Lyndale Johnson Idabel Ok, Otto Johnson (Freda) Dallas Tx., Shirley Davis Idabel Ok, Brenda Duckett Valliant Ok, nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

His Service is set for 1:00 pm Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Bypass Church of Christ.

Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery
