Flora Ann Broadus, age 60, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023. She was born July 4, 1963, in Elaine, Arkansas to Mary Lee Young and Joe Broadus Jr., and was the second child of her siblings.
Flora attended school in Idabel and worked as a Certified Nurse Aide for several years prior in Texas. She later moved to Tulsa, OK.
Flora accepted Christ at an early age but later rededicated her life to the Lord in September 2022.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lee Young, her brothers, Willie Pondexter, Jr., Jeremiah Broadus, and Anthony Broadus, and her sister, Shelia D Ayers.
Those left to cherish her memories are her father, Joe Broadus, of Arkansas; son, James D Broadus of Oklahoma; grandchildren, James Broadus Jr., ZaTodreayanna Milton, of Texas, Jakayla Broadus, Amarii Broadus, of Arkansas, Jaydon Broadus of Oklahoma; brothers, Thomas (Juanita) Ayers Jr., of Oklahoma, Andrew (Carolyn) Marshall, Joe Broadus Jr., and Jeremy Duncan, of Arkansas; sisters, Lindey (Marvin) Coleman of Oklahoma, Linda Rankin, Arma Broadus, Essie Broadus, Sharon Broadus, Erica Duncan, and Lawanda Broadus, of Arkansas.
Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nunley's Funeral Home located at 3 SW Bois D Arc Ave., in Idabel, OK. 74745.
The Celebration Service will be on Saturday, November 25th at 10:00 a.m., at St. James CME Church located at 503 SW Main St., Idabel, OK. 74745.
Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery
A family visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 24th from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Funeral Home.
The public viewing will be from 9 am to 10 am only at St James CME Church the morning of the service.
