Everett "Buddy" Ezell Jr. was called from labor to reward on June 02, 2016 at his home.
Buddy was born January 29, 1951 to Everett "Red" Ezell and Altis "Bea" Ezell in Tom, OK. He attended schools in Tom and Haworth, OK. He also attended a trade school in Oklahoma City where he learned to operate a forklift.
On April 30, 1983 he married Debbie Clayton and they celebrated their 33rd anniversary this year.
Preceding Buddy in death were his father, Red Ezell; brother, William M. Brooks; two sisters, Shirley Bloodsoe and Everetha "Ria" Walker.
He is remembered by: wife, Debbie of the home; and mother, Altis Ezell of Tom. Although no children were born to this union, he leaves to cherish his memory three nephews whom he treated as his own: Rasheid Preston, Tre' Preston, and Gavin Threadgill. Buddy is also survived by: three brothers, Johnny Ezell (Wanda) of Tom, OK; Elder James Ezell (Annie) of Sherman, TX; Dennis Ezell (Christie) of Dallas, TX; seven sisters, Dr. Vera Smith (Rev. Herbert E. Smith) of Haworth, OK; Cynthia Love (Travis) of Clarksville, TX; Deborah Hearn of Sherman, TX; Robin Hall (Phillip), Opal Burris, and Elaine Childs, all of Edmond, OK., also, a very special brother Calvin Bailey, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on June 11, 2016 at New Dora Missionary Baptist Church in Tom, OK with Pastor Kevin Starks, Eulogist.
Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery in Tom, OK.
