Evelyn Diane Thompson was born January 31, 1966 to Leon and Betty Whitaker in Valliant, Oklahoma. She passed away at McCurtain Memorial Hospital 12/23/ 2014.
Diane attended Valliant High School, and was a faithful member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend to all.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Betty Whitaker; sisters Peggy, Linda, and Carolyn, Whitaker; brothers Bobby, Wilbert Dean, and Earl Whitaker.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Ashley (Kwabon) Watson of Idabel, and a brother Aaron King of Little Rock Arkansas; two stepchildren Lisa of Texarkana Texas, and Larry Thompson of Idabel; sisters Barbara Corley of Valliant, OK, and Anna Adkins of Hugo, OK
Funeral Arrangements are set for 11 am Monday December 29, 2014 at Olive Branch Baptist Church with Rev Burnis Burrell officiating.
Interment will follow at Elliot, Cemetery Valliant.
