Estoria Butler

Estoria Lee (Breedlove) Butler, was born November 5, 1938 to Hamon and Gertie Breedlove in Idabel, Oklahoma. Estoria was the eldest child to the couple. She accepted Christ into her life at an early age and rededicated her life to the Lord in her later years.

Estoria graduated from Booker T. Washington High School where she was a majorette and after attended ET Dunlap Center.She was a member of First Baptist Church, Westside in Idabel, OK where she sang in the choir. Estoria worked for Lone Star Ammunition Plant for several years.

Estoria was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert Butler, her father, Hamon Breedlove, her mother Gertie Breedlove, her daughters, Valenica (Butler) Pierson and Loretta Breedlove, her son Rovenette Breedlove as well as both maternal and paternal grandparents.

In 1955, Estoria met and wed her husband Robert Butler and to that union 6 children were born. Estoria was a stay at home mother, enjoyed singing and loved entertaining her family and friends at her home.

Estoria was called home on October 30, 2016.  She leaves to cherish her memory: Children, Eslawanda (Audrey) Butler of Valliant, OK; Norbert (Brenda) Butler and Greta Butler of Oklahoma City, OK;  Nerbie H. Breedlove of Idabel, OK; Gerald Charleston of Memphis, TN; Hamon Lee Charleston of Chicago, IL; Lamont Gray and Gregory Gray of Idabel, OK; Manerva Gray of Texarkana, TX; Kira Ghoston of Mesquite, TX; Thelma Butler and Robert Fields of San Jacinto, CA; 12 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
