Elex L. Johnson 37 passed away on April 20, 2016 in Fort Myers, Fl.
Elex also known as Scooter was born on Aug. 6, 1978 in Oklahoma City, to Earnest L. Johnson and Linda Henderson; Three sisters Lameisha Henderson, Mickael Nelson, Ettalon Dunlap; two brothers Deshawn Coleman and Zachary Andrew all of Oklahoma City.
Elex was preceded in death by his birth father Ernest L Johnson, grandfather and grandmother Oscar and Marie Johnson.
A special prayer for a son to complete the family of Mitchell and Dollie Johnson, Murphy was answered at 3 months old when "Scooter" was adopted into the loving family to be raised with his sisters Vickie (Don) Belts Memphis, TN., Valarie (Johnny) Rayford, Clinton, MD., and Regina (Eddie) Miller, Idabel, OK
Elex joined Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Idabel, OK, at an early age under the leadership of Rev. A. W. Gulley.
He graduated from Idabel High School in 1997. After graduation, he attended O U.
Elex was employed by Dell Computers as a Computer Analysis. He loved talking and joking with his family and friends, cooking for his friends, and playing Video games with Marcus. Elex was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the O U Sooners. He traveled to varies places throughout his life and loved every minute of it.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving son Marcus Callahan (Johnson) and Kathryn Callahan (Mother) of OKC; a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and other relatives, classmates and friends.
A visitation is set for 3:00pm - 6:00 pm on Friday April 29, 2016 at Nunley's.
A Going Home Service is set for 1:00 pm Saturday April 30, 2016 at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church Idabel, with Rev. A. W. Gulley officiating.
Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery, Idabel, Ok.
