Earner Lee Johnson Jr.

Earner Lee Johnson, Jr was born January 23, 1955 to Lillie Mae and Earner Lee Johnson. He attended Idabel Gray High and graduated in 1973.

He later entered into the US Army and served 8 years. After leaving the military in 1983, he returned to his hometown in Idabel where he the became an officer of the law at Idabel Police Department. Earner severed with the Police Department for 14 years. Earner decided to embark upon a new venture with his future wife who he had also worked with at the Police Department for 14 years.

He and Gwen were united in marriage in June 1997. Their new journey took them to Dallas, Texas where both of their children resided.

After moving to the Dallas area, he was employed by V.A. Medical City of Dallas where he was employed until his death. He served 17 years as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earner Lee Johnson, Mother, Lillie Mae Johnson, one sister Deetress Johnson, and two brothers Donald Rae Johnson and Vernell Nelson.

He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn Johnson of Waxahachie, Texas. Two sons from a previous marriage, Cedrick Williams of Dallas, Texas, and Fredrick (Michelle) Johnson, of Lake Monticello, Virginia. Two stepsons Rodney (Tiffany) Ingram, of Cedar Hill, Texas and Ronald Ingram of Richardson, Texas. Two brothers Theodis (Gladis) Wise, of Tom, Ok, and Leon (Reina) Merritt, of Amarillo, TX. Five sisters Ruthie (Worth) Williams, of OKC, OK. Jackie Smith, of OKC, OK. Deborah (Raymond) Graves, of Idabel, OK. Linda Thrower, of Waxahachie, TX, Shirley Ford, of Grant, OK. Twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
