Dorothy May Gill

Dorothy May Gill was born May 2, 1934 in Ogden, Arkansas, to Willie and Carrie May Draper. She passed away Friday July 12, 2019 at the Hospice Center in Texarkana Texas.

Dorothy was an only child. She married AV Gill, and from that union came 12 children; 8 boys and 4 girls.

Dorothy was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and was very active in the ministry before her illness. She especially loved working in the rural territory, and enjoyed the meetings where she could give and receive comfort.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband; 2 sons, James Gill and Steve Gill; 2 daughters; Laura Smith and Beverly Crawford.

Family that she leaves behind to grieve her passing are 2 daughters; Helen and Carolyn Gill of Texarkana; 6 sons, Charles, Clyde, Terry, George, Willie, and Clifford Gill all of Texarkana, TX., many grand and great grandchildren, relatives, and friends too numerous to count that will mourn Mama Gill.

A memorial service is set for 2:00 pm., Saturday July 20th 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 3003 Norton St Texarkana, TX., with Bobby Jones officiating.
