Daryle Clayton Ford was born on January 12, 1968 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. Daryle graduated from this earthly life and entered into his heavenly home on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Daryle was educated in the Idabel Public School system and graduated from Idabel High School in May 1986. He furthered his education by attending Paris Junior College and Langston University majoring in music.
He was very musically inclined since he was a small child. During his childhood he played at various churches in Idabel such as First Baptist, Plainview and in the surrounding areas. As an adult he served as a musician and/or Minister of Music at the following churches: Mt. Pisgah in Paris, Texas; First Baptist Church, Westside in Idabel; St. James Baptist Church in Clarksville, Texas; Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Oklahoma City; Prosperity Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas; Pond Street Baptist Church, Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Grace Church of All Nation; Beth Eden Baptist Church and Ebenezer Baptist Church in Newburgh, New York. Recently, Daryle returned to Oklahoma City as Minister of Music for Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Daryle was a ten time Apollo winner. He spent four months in Wester Europe with Broadway production. He recorded his own gospel album entitled "All That I Am". While these were indeed notable accomplishments, Daryle's greatest accomplishment was being a big brother, an uncle, a nephew, a grandson and a loving son to his mother, Anna Lois whom he loved dearly.
Those that precede Daryle in death include: his mother, Anna Lois D. Clayton; maternal grandparents, Lorenzo and Jimmie Williams; paternal grandmother, Edna Alexander; and nephew Tre'Brian Clayton.
Daryle leaves to cherish his memories are: his father, Rev. R.D. Clayton of Idabel; sisters, Bonnie (Lameko) of Idabel and Reynelda (Patrick) of Tulsa; uncles James (Hinda) of Austin, Texas and Charles (Janice) of Oklahoma City. Also cherishing his memory are his other sisters and brothers, one niece, four nephews, and a host of other relatives, friends, acquaintances, former students and mentors.
A Celebration of Life Service is set for Friday October 17, 2014. Music Celebration at 10:30 Am and the Celebration of Life Worship at 11:00 AM.at the Tabernacle Baptist Church 1829 NE 36th Street Oklahoma City, OK 73111 with Dr. John Mayshack, Pastor Emertius, and Dr. Gerome Free Officiating

Memorial Service set for October 18, 2014 10:30 Am at First Baptist Westside, Idabel, Oklahoma with Pastor Latson officiating.
Interment will follow the Memorial Service at Williamston Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
Viewing Saturday morning from 8-10 at the Funeral home.
