Curvis Cole

Mr. Curvis Cole was born on March 27, 1941 in Idabel, Oklahoma to B.C. and Daisy Hurd-Doran. He passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.
Curvis was member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and was baptized May, 1950.
He attended public school, but at young age Curvis became very ill and was place in the hospital in Taft, OK. When he was discharged from that hospital, Curvis was placed in Hill's Nursing Home, and remained a resident until his death.
He is preceded in death by his parents, B.C. Cole and Daisy Hurd-Doran; and a sister, Charlene Edwards.
Curvis was known as "Brother" and was loved by many. Also, he leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters; Louise Duckett of Phoenix, Arizona and Letha Dillard of Oklahoma City,; nephews Robert Edwards, Curtis Dillard, and Charles Roden all of Oklahoma City, Joel and Junior Duckett of Arizona; nieces Cherie Edwards of New York, Evyon Edwards of Kansas, Mary Ann, Daisy Ann, and Lydella Duckett all of Arizona; and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral arrangements are set for 11 am Tuesday March 11, 2014 at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
